Cablevision Calls Me About My Complaint
I just got a call from Cablevision letting me know that they received my complaint email and are escalating my complaint to the Vice President of Cablevision. I had written yesterday about my disappointment with Cablevision’s recent promotion tactics. It seems that my complaint email (there is no phone number to call) which linked to my blog post complaining about the issue did not go unnoticed.
While I’m not going to let Cablevision off the hook until I see what they end up doing about these situations in the future, I will say that a phone call was appreciated and am hoping that what I was told was not just rhetoric, but actually an honest approach to fixing this type of behavior.
Same with me. I am having horrible experience with their reward card request. I originally requested the card in Sept 08, guess what I still have not receive the card, even though the reward center emailed me saying they are sending me one (3rd attempt).
Part of the reason my wife & I signed up for the Triple Play, was to get the Optimum card. We have been waiting atleast 8 weeks with no card or info available. Seems to me that the only way to contact these people via email is a bit shifty !! If I don’t hear something soon, I’ll be switching over to Verizon Fios …..
Cablevision is currently running a promotion for those who order optimum online and voice. Order those 2 and get a free iphone. They promised that i would get it in 30 days. It has now been 2 months and nothing. A woman I work with signed up for the same deal and has not gotten hers either. I will not be paying my next bill until I get my iphone and I am considering going to Verizon. Cablevision does not care at all about their customers.
